We offer Foraging Walks!
On-farm Tours: Book a tour of our farm and learn about the large amount of wild edibles available in our area and how to use them. Each tour will have some overlap but will also have unique wild foods that are seasonal and only available for a short time. Minimum of 10 people to run the tour. $10/person. If you want to do a “wild green smoothie” tour it will be $15/person. We had great success with the “wild green smoothie” tours with groups of parents and children last year as the children loved being able to harvest the greens that were later turned into a delicious fruit smoothie!
Urban Foraging: We can also take you on a tour of your neighbourhood or any other spot in the city that you’re interested in knowing more about. Gather a group of 10 people minimum, let us know where you want to go, and we’ll book a time. $10/person.
Our first foraging walk was held on Saturday May 2nd 2015, held in conjunction with the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario.
